style at la parguera

July 20, 2018

i am finally sharing my last puerto rico post today!  this is more of a style post since we didn't photograph much of the scenery in la parguera, which is always a favorite to visit.  we've visited this town before several times, once to see the bioluminescent bay and another to hang out by the beach and walk around.  we intended on taking a boat ride to mata la gata, but by the time we got there, it was too late to head out (as the uninhabited island closes at 5pm).

so instead, we spent about an hour, hour and a half at la parguera, walking around, grabbing a few drinks and enjoying the live band that was playing in the center of all the commotion.  i wore my favorite dress from anthropologie (from last year, but i linked similar ones down below) and my favorite sandals (from a few years ago).  i love flowy dresses while on vacation, especially when it's super hot!

thanks for following along with my puerto rico travel posts!  although all my posts were happy in nature, i was saddened to see the state that the island was in when we visited, some eight months after hurricane maria.  if you're planning a vacation, consider visiting this little slice of paradise (that is part of your country...if you live in the US).  they make most of their money on tourism and there are so many beautiful places to visit while on the island.  here are all of my puerto rico posts from throughout the years in case you need some ideas on where to go.  and there are also some great instagram pages like this one and this one to find cool places to visit.
