i have recently partnered up with dove to try out their new dove dermaseries collection. and i have to say, i truly love them. i've never been one to actually moisturize my skin until very, very recently. i've always had problem, blemished skin with random dry patches. i naively just accepted that was my reality and never took any action to actually better my skin.

i recently went to the dermatologist and she gave me a $40 cream that made my dry patches sting and i felt was making them worse. i decided to stop using that prescription cream and give regular lotion a try.  why not, right?!  so i decided to actually try and lotion my skin twice daily after my morning and evening showers. and can i say, what a difference! especially during these dry winter months where my skin really needs that extra love.

i love that these products are fragrance free and are great for people with sensitive skin, like me! i use the body lotion all over right after i get out of the shower.  this ensures that all the moisture is locked in and leaves my skin feeling silky smooth.  then i go back in with the repairing balm and massage that into each dry patch, on my elbows, knees and heels of my feet.
