hey, guys!

i just realized i never posted these pictures and i really love them so much!  we took these at the park near our apartment a few months ago ;)

i haven't mentioned it, but my birthday is actually coming soon.  i initially wasn't super excited about it because i didn't plan anything to celebrate.  but as it's getting closer, i'm excited for whats to come in this new year of life!

life is so good, even when it doesn't seem to be.  and i am grateful!!  i'm trying to plan a big trip for the end of the year and i am just stuck on where to go!  i feel a little weird that we aren't going to puerto rico this year.  to be honest, i'm a little worried about the whole zika virus thing and would also just like to visit somewhere new.  even though puerto rico is my favorite place on this earth and we always find new places each time we visit ;)  maybe next year!!

so help me out!!  where should we go?  near or far.  makes no difference to us, however i do prefer somewhere warm during the december/january months (no sense in going somewhere cold while it's cold where we live.  you know what i'm saying?!)
