spring is near

February 20, 2017

we got a little taste of spring this past weekend and i just can't wait for it to officially be spring!!  we were definitely spoiled with a mild winter this year and that little taste of spring we had just made me so excited for the warmer weather.

junior and i took a drive into the city on saturday and went to the metropolitan museum of art.  i couldn't believe that neither one of us had ever been before!!  i wrote about wanting to have more enriching experiences and looking into different cultural things to do and so we did exactly that!  there is way too much to see there, so we are making it a point to visit more often.  and just a little tip, the entrance fee for the MET is a suggested cost, meaning you can basically name your own price ;)

i originally was going to change my shoes once we got to the museum but i ended up loving my super comfy, boho, effortless look.  typical "casual" outfit for me ;)

i'm also sharing some pieces i'm currently loving for the transition into spring.  i love pairing a flowy dress with a faux leather jacket.  i feel like that's going to be my go to look as the warmer weather is starting to creep in ;)  i provided links below for your shopping convenience.  oh, and don't forget to use the codes provided for extra $$ off!! happy shopping!

^^faux black leather jackets are a staple in my closet, but i'm loving that faux suede one too!

^^that floral dress is totally my style!  and that skirt is something i need in my closet.  i'm loving pink so much this season!

^^i'm obsessed with these two dresses.  i'm a sucker for a LWD and a pink off the shoulder?  yes, please!

^^i can totally see myself wearing that checkered dress to a picnic!  and that over coat is what my floral dreams are made of!
